Bridget van der Zijpp is the Curator and Producer of Writers Write : Actors Read.  She is the author of three novels, I Laugh Me Broken, In the Neighbourhood of Fame, and Misconduct and has a masters in Creative Writing from the IIML at Victoria University (now Te Herenga Waka Victoria University).  She has been awarded the 2026 Ireland, Wilson, Sargeson Fellowship and is also the Co-Curator of the Hamilton based literary festival HamLit, which is part of the Hamilton Arts Festival Toi Ora Ki Kirikiriroa.  She is also a member of the 2025 Ockham Collective, an initiative that brings artists together for a year to share and sometimes collaborate on artistic adventures.

DEPOT Sound, based in Devonport Auckland, have partnered with this project to record, master and edit the Writers Write : Actors Read sessions.  They are an awesome friendly, professional and affordable recording studio, and a great place to record your podcasts or audio books.
